thanks. Working on a Kerriagn costume form SC2. I love her. Been in love with her since I've played SC1 back in the day. Looked at your armour construction stuffs, and may try that method rather than going plastic. 1 its cheaper 2 less risk of burns XD I may try to use a heavy weight cardstock though and coat it with a fiberglass resin type mix. Sewing in the LED lights and getting them to pulse is gonna be a pain, since I don't know the first thing about lighting.
you may look into craft foam..if your gonna spend money on material..people say its easier and its does look a little better..I only use cardboard because its free but its taken a long time to develope methods that conceil the cardboard look..there are certain things about cardboard that you can not hide no matter what you do..but free materials beat spending money anyday..Id love to see the pieces you are planning to make..send me a note with a link if you dont mind..I may be able to give some feedback..but If you know how or have worked in plastics then Im jealous..that is a method that requires investments im not prepared to make for myself..especially when its only a hobby for me..
